Carnival at the Zoo February 1, 2023

On February 4th and 5th spectacle feedings, seal training, face painting, dance hall and the Bóbita Band's Carnival of Animals interactive activity, as well as craft programs and many more exciting events await guests.

The Schäftner carousel will be open on both days, interested parties can take photos in our costumes, and children can get to know our Teddy Bear Hospital with the help of medical students, but they can also take part in an animal crime scene on the Magic Hill. At 1:00 p.m., the musical, costumed carnival parade starts from Főkapu tér.

The Zoo also offers a special discount on both days of the Carnival. Children under the age of 14 can participate in the Zoo Carnival for HUF 200 if they arrive in costume.

We look forward to carefree relaxation and experiences for the whole family on the first weekend of February!

The entrance fee for children under the age of 14 coming in costume and carnival mask is HUF 200/person on both days, while everyone else can choose from our usual tickets at our box office. Zoo tickets and passes can also be used for the program. You can enter through the Main Entrance and the Holnemvolt castle gate.
